My role as UX/UI producer and practitioner was to advocate for the customer and to keep a customer-centric attitude in mind for Avenet’s product offerings and business goals. As a team we gathered customer feedback by user research methods and instilled UX enhancements and improvements. We were able to successfully migrate the former site to the newer e-commerce redesign into a responsive framework while maintaining corporate branding guidelines from a design system.

As a User Experience and Social Media Strategist, I focused on understanding how and why audiences engage with content across social media platforms. Through ongoing observation and discovery, I analyzed user behavior, engagement patterns, and audience interests to identify what resonates most with viewers.
I applied these insights to improve social media marketing strategies and support business objectives. My work centered on optimizing content performance across platforms such as Facebook and YouTube, with a focus on increasing engagement, retention, and audience growth.

I was the interaction designer who created low-fidelity and high-fidelity clickable prototypes for food industry customers who would use a mobile app to assess the ingredients of GMO’s in food products sold in grocery stores. The customer could gather data by taking a pic and scanning a bar code which would generate a report of ingredients of products that were GMO certified, in the process of getting certified, and food that had GMO ingredients. Therefore, they can make a list of what products they will purchase, share this with their family to help them chose healthier food in their diets, and find out which stores carry what inventory. This tool can help them to speed up their shopping trip and find products that they have already vetted before stepping into a store.
